Modules

What you work through

  1. Event grammar — Map purchase, renew, refund, and restore into a single fact table without double counting.
  2. Refund latency clocks — Measure how delayed chargebacks warp weekly reporting.
  3. Trial collapse maps — Separate intentful trials from accidental family-share noise.
  4. Grace & billing retry — Model soft-fail windows that stores hide in secondary reports.
  5. Regional cohort craft — Window Thai festival spikes without poisoning global baselines.
  6. Decision memos — Package findings so engineering and finance share one vocabulary.

Learning outcomes

  • Rebuild LTV with restore-aware attribution.
  • Spot receipt fields that silently break currency rollups.
  • Design cohort windows that survive Songkran and late refunds.
  • Write a one-page analytics brief executives can defend.

Honest limitation

This course does not teach SDK implementation or App Store Connect admin workflows. You need access to exported events or warehouse tables; we will not generate production code for your stack.

Learner notes

“Week three’s refund latency drill exposed a seven-day blind spot we had been calling ‘organic churn’.”

Ploy · Monetization PM, Bangkok

“Strong on method. The homework load is real — expect two evenings a week if your warehouse docs are messy.”

Daniel K. · Analytics contractor

FAQ

Do I need engineering partners in the cohort?

Ideal, not mandatory. Solo analysts succeed when they can export events; pairs move faster on instrumentation follow-ups.

Is the price a checkout?

No. Pricing is informational only. Seats are confirmed through the contact form or email — there is no in-site payment.

What if my app is Play-only?

Labs include Android Billing examples. StoreKit modules still teach transferable concepts even if you skip Apple-specific drills.

Will this fix a broken data warehouse?

No. We help you diagnose and prioritize fixes. Migrating pipelines or rewriting ETL is outside scope and often requires your platform team.
